Bates Motel: Binge-Worthy Throwback

This 2013 TV show is filled with horror and drama, starring Vera Farmiga, Freddie Highmore, Max Thieriot and Olivia Cooke. This show is based around the life of psyche Norman Bates.
Summary: The storyline revolves around the chaotic life of Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga) and Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore), having to flee their hometown after the sudden death of Norman’s abusive father. They then invest all their belongings into a motel residence and immediately run into different confrontations with the people of White Pine Bay. Norma’s troubling past of abuse and Norman’s concerning blackouts will soon catch up to them. There are many twists and turns within this show involving, murder, Dissociative Identity Disorder, and mental illness.
Opinion: Bates Motel is a show that will leave you hanging on the edge of your seat. This unpredictable show is one worth watching, starring one of my all-time favorite actors, Vera Farmiga, who stars in many hit movies like The Nun, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, and the sequel The Conjuring. Not only does Bates Motel include drama and horror, but it is a comedic show as well. You can access this show on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu. Give it a watch if you like murder mysteries and you won’t be disappointed.
