Dribbling on the Court

As the basketball season continues, the Lady Mustangs push on and work hard to play their best and hardest.

On Tuesday, February 4th, the girls played against Angleton scoring 60-30. Before the game had begun, manager Morghan Dixon was highly optimistic with the team, “I feel the team had a rough start, but we continue to improve not only skill wise but relationship wise.”

With each game the Lady Mustangs play, they continue to improve and use their time to enhance their skills, as individuals, and also as a team. Power Forward and occasional starter Emily Dunn prepares for games by “showing up to every practice and before the season started, I had a trainer shoot around at home.”

As the girls grow, they have improved their relationships with each other, “We got closer as friends and improved in skill,” Emily said. With the girls’ basketball season in full swing we hope to see our alumni come and support our ladies.

Good luck Lady Mustangs and bring home a W!
