How to Bake Cookies from Scratch

INGREDIENTS
• 2 ½ Sticks of unsalted butter
• 1 cup of brown sugar
• ½ cup of sugar
• 2 tsp. of vanilla extract
• 2 eggs
• 2 ¾ cup of all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp. of baking soda
• ¾ tsp. of salt
• 3 cups of Chocolate Chips
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 375° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
2. Use electric mixer and beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy (about 2 minutes)
3. Slowly add in the vanilla extract and eggs
4. In a separate bowl mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together
5. Fold in the chocolate chips
6. Roll dough into balls and place them on the baking sheet
7. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden
